Lithuanian Materials Research Society

Main directions of activities carried out by members of the Society:

• to systemize, disseminate and exchange information concerning experience and potential possibilities of individual Lithuanian scientists, scientific groups and enterprises involved in various material research problems;
• to facilitate the communication and exchange information on material research, developed technologies and products produced in Lithuania into neighboring Baltic, EU and other countries;
• to promote the wide material research, interdisciplinary cooperation, development of modern technologies and other activities for the benefit of Lithuanian members of LtMRS;
• to take active part in training of specialists and modern material research studies by young scientists and students;
• to organize international co-operation in the field of material science.
