• Progress: current state evaluation, new directions and ideas, legislative act projects.
• Promotion: publishing, information, integration.
• Education: youth geologists, school, museums, terminology, information to the media, etc..
• Geological monuments of nature: taking care of validation and the protection, care, promotion.
• Geological heritage: preservation, commemoration, history, tradition.
• LGS members support: vocational, social, legal.
• Communication and cooperation: foreign partners, discussions, projects, co-ordination.
